Welcome to the Environmental Health Middle School Project's website. We hope this website will be an interesting and useful place for you and your students to learn about environmental health issues.

What is Environmental Health?
Environmental Health is the study of how the environment around us affects human health.

What curricula does the IEHMSP provide?
The IEHMSP offers a variety of environmental health curriculum providing middle school teachers with multiple ways to bring environmental health concepts into their classrooms. IEHMSP curricula is interdisciplinary and provides opportunities for project-based learning.

The IEHMSP has developed Student Learning Outcomes to provide an understanding of the key concepts and knowledge students will acquire when participating in the program and its curricula. The Student Learning Outcomes state that:

· Students will understand the relationship between human health and the environment.

· Students will investigate the roles that individuals, communities and governments play in decisions that can affect human health.
